Ashleigh works across both our Auckland and Manukau offices. She is an excellent advocate who provides clear, practical, and pragmatic advice to her clients on a broad range of matters including building and property disputes.
Ashleigh recently wrote the following article: The Intertwining of Tikanga into Aotearoa’s Common Law and is an active member of Te Hunga Rōia Māori o Aotearoa (the Māori Law Society).
Ashleigh has diverse experience in a range of areas. She commenced her legal career in Melbourne, Australia, and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria. She regularly appeared in the Federal Court of Australia and Supreme Court of Victoria and advised clients in relation to property, debt recovery, insolvency, contractual and building disputes.
In 2020 Ashleigh returned to NZ. She worked at two reputable mid-sized Auckland firms including a firm with a strong insurance practice representing lawyers, accountants, engineers, and other professionals.
Ashleigh has represented clients at mediations and arbitrations and has appeared in the District Court and High Court of New Zealand.

Outside of work, Ashleigh enjoys hot yoga and pilates, walking her dog, travelling (NZ and abroad) and snowboarding. She is also learning to play golf and improving speaking Spanish and Te Reo.
