Notary Public

A Notary Public has the internationally recognised power and authority to witness signatures on legal documents, administer oaths and certify the authenticity of legal documents under official seal in a manner that renders them acceptable for use overseas.

A Justice of the Peace can carry out these roles regarding documents in New Zealand only.

Ross Bedford, one of the partners in the firm, is a Notary Public and is available by appointment to provide notary services. Tony Coupe, a retired partner in the firm, is also a Notary Public based at our Albany office.
