Jackie was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in 2003 having completed an LLB and Bachelor of Social Science at the University of Waikato.
Jackie joined the McVeagh Fleming litigation team in 2006 and has developed valuable experience as a specialised family lawyer working on a full and diverse range of matters. Jackie assists in quickly identifying client legal issues and providing practical, succinct legal advice and options for resolution.
With a deep knowledge of the Family Court system, she advises and helps clients navigate Family Dispute Resolution, negotiations, mediation and litigation options to reach best outcomes. Jackie appears regularly in the Family Court on relationship property, maintenance, family violence and contested parenting and guardianship disputes.
In addition, Jackie regularly advises and prepares "pre-nup" and relationship property agreements for clients at the start or end of a relationship.
Jackie also advises on Protection of Personal and Property Rights matters helping families obtain Welfare Guardianship and Property Orders for loved ones with loss of capacity.

Jackie enjoys travelling, sports and adventuring with her husband and three children. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family and being on the Board of Trustees for the Eastern Suburbs Montessori Primary School.
