Julia specialises in relationship property matters involving trusts, with her practice spanning separations, contracting out agreements to protect assets, estate disputes, trust and asset planning reviews, care of children, and family violence. She provides pragmatic advice on the options available, whether through court proceedings or alternative methods such as private negotiations or mediation. Understanding the significant stress clients often experience during family-related disputes, Julia is committed to resolving issues efficiently and empathetically. She regularly appears in the Family Court and has the skills and experience to effectively represent clients in court proceedings when required.
Julia began her legal career in trust administration in 2018, working in Trust Law with two mid-sized law firms before joining McVeagh Fleming in June 2022 to focus on Family Law matters. Prior to her legal career, she gained valuable corporate experience in the Insurance and Freight industries, where she held a management position while completing her legal studies.
