Susan King

Working closely with the McVeagh Fleming Board and Partners, Susan is responsible for both the strategic direction of the firm and its day-to-day operations.

Her role is critical to the firm's success, as she develops and executes its plans, identifies opportunities for revenue growth, manages costs, ensures high-quality service delivery, and stays up-to-date with industry developments.

Susan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the financial services and professional services sectors. Her career began in the United Kingdom, where she spent a decade working for large corporations such as Aegon and Old Mutual, as well as running her own consulting business. In 2007, Susan moved to New Zealand with her family to join AIA. She later became a Director at PwC New Zealand, specialising in Marketing and Client Experience where she enjoyed a long and successful career.

After two years at one of the large law firms in Auckland, Susan accepted a role as General Manager at McVeagh Fleming. Her expertise and leadership skills have been invaluable in helping the firm thrive and achieve its goals.
