Eryanto was born and raised in Batam, a small island in Indonesia, before moving to New Zealand in 2018 to pursue his university studies. Prior to joining McVeagh Fleming, Eryanto worked as a law clerk at a boutique law firm in Grafton.
Eryanto joined the Auckland Litigation team as a graduate law clerk in 2022 working alongside Partners, Craig Andrews and John Burley, on a range of commercial and civil disputes, including employment disputes, money claims, commercial and contract disputes, and business/property sale and purchase disputes. He was admitted to the bar in November 2022.
Eryanto has established solid experience, having appeared in the District Court, High Court, and Court of Appeal. He has also been appointed as Amicus Curiae in the District Court.
Eryanto is fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Outside of the office, Eryanto enjoys reading crime/mystery novels, running, and playing pickup basketball at local basketball courts.
